Ugadi pacchadi


 Ugadi is very important festival in Andrapradesh. It is celebrated as beginning of new year. Ugadi pacchdi is prepared in this occasion, which contains ingredients giving all six tastes, Sweet(teepi), pungency or hot taste(kaaram), acrid or astringent or tangy taste(vagaru), sour(pulupu), bitter(chedu) and salt(uppu).

Ingredients :
Jaggery  : 1 small piece
Red chili powder – 1 pinch
Unripe   mango – 1
Ripe tamarind fruit – 1 small bit


Flowers of neem tree – few
salt - 1 pinch

Procedure :
Take the unripe mango remove the outer peel and cut into small pieces.
 
Now take few pieces and add other things as told in ingredients and mix well with little water.
 
Now Ugadi pacchadi is ready.
